Phoebe Judith Brandt
We had our beautiful baby girl! I can't wait to post our birth story! It may take a little time since I'm going to be as detailed as possible- so this forgetful mind of mine can remember every detail. I have a feeling they will be hard to forget- and having told our story about a hundred times so far can't hurt either =) God was so good to us!! IS so good to us - is that a surprise? He has chosen US to care for this little bundle- to be stewards of her life. She is not Ours she is the Lord's. He has given her to us and He will do with her as He wishes- but I'm so excited that He has chosen us to be her parents. I know there will be a lot of ups and downs in the coming years, but we can lean entirely on Christ and know that her life is ultimately in His hands. She is such a happy baby! I love all 3 of her dimples! She is extremely entertaining and I think I could just stare at her all day- maybe some days I'll do just that since I don't have to work outside the home any more! =)

Finding out the Gender
I'm so glad that my sweetie and I found out the gender of our baby. It's been awesome knowing that she's a girl! I feel like we've been able to bond with her and get to know her more than if she was a "he or she". We've been able to be fully prepared for our first baby with all the pink and girly goodness available. We've been able to call her by name and I wonder if she'll recognize her name sooner than if we hadn't found out. We will totally do this every time we have a babbins, Lord Willing.
If for some reason she turns out to be boy (even after 2 separate ultrasound techs told us it was a girl) that will be totally fine since all of our "big items" are gender neutral. =) Chances of that happening are slim, but it does give an air of mystery to things.
