First "Real" Food- July 25,2011

Our little girl is getting so big so quickly! Today she fully rolled over by herself (from full tummy to full back) and tonight she tried rice cereal for the first time!! Daddy got the breast milk ready and everything prepped, while Mommy took the pictures!

You want me to eat what??
Oh that doesn't look too bad!
 What is Daddy doing?

That looks great!!! I want some!

Please hurry or I'll have to eat my fingers!

 First Bite!
 MMMMM!!! this is good!

She did such a great job! She got most of it on her bib but loved what she got in her mouth.

 Daddy's Turn!
Can I do it myself, Daddy?

 Getting excited about eating more.

 OH MY WORD! SO GOOD!

Can I have some more, please (in Oliver Twist voice)
Hmmm...maybe next time I can do it myself....

Don't poke your eye out! You'll get more soon.

31 and still lookin' Hott!!

On July 7th the love of my life turned 31. 31!!!
He's such a wonderful hubby and daddy!  Minus a few gray hairs he doesn't look a day over 25- how old he was when we met. I think he will continue to age well =)

Can you tell what my sweetie loves? ICE CREAM!! So I got him a medley of his favorite flavors, half a Boston cream cake,  and some spending money for his outing to Chicago with the guys at the end of the month.

Look at ALL those candles!! Man, I'm surprised the house didn't catch on fire!!

And I'm surprised the smoke alarm didn't go off with all that smoke!
Now time to eat up!

Eat More Chikin! -Phoebe turns 4 months old.

Phoebe Turned 4 months on Friday, July 8 which also so happened to be a special day for Chick-fil-a. If you know me at all, you know I LOVE Chick-Fil-A. Their chicken tastes so fresh, their fries are executed perfectly, and their soft serve is a delicious, cool treat. If you went to Chick-Fil-A dressed as a cow on this day, you would get a free meal.
About 4 years ago, Mom Brandt bought me a cow costume from Chantelle's garage sale , "You've just got to have this!" Well, today the costume came in handy. So handy that we both got a free meal. This is the second free meal I've gotten using my baby. lol. There was a "cow costume print-out" online you could use, so of course I printed it off and cut it out. These pictures were taken before we left to get lunch.

Look at all the food we got for free!!! I had lunch and supper!
My little calf Phoebe apparently wasn't as thrilled as I was,  but one day she will be.
She woke up and of course I had to get some more pictures. This is a 12 month outfit- a teensy bit big but not by much.

"What am I wearing, mom?"

"So when do I get some of that free food?"
"I love dressing up!"
"mmm...Beef is yummy, Mommy!"
I changed her outfit since it was a very think costume, and it was a hot day out! Then we went window shopping. Barnes and Noble and several books later and we took off.
